At the city council level there are n Democrats or Republicans. It's all about keeping one's city safe and propperous. It's about keeping the water flowing, the streets clean, and keeping the public safe. A big par of the job is to do what one can to promote fiscal responsbility and work to create jobs and recreational opportunities.
