I was born in Japan after WWII.  After I graduated from High School, I came to the US to go to a College and become proficient in English. I had an intention  to return to Japan and, to pursue a higher education. However, I ended up meeting a man, who became my husband(now for 48 years).  We retired in Rocklin in 2000; and I became a US citizen in 2001(a month before 9/11)  

Before moving to Rocklin, we lived in West Marin and, Petaluma where we raised our son.  My RN career started at Novato Community Hospital and finally at Petaluma Valley Hospital.  I worked in Med/Surge, OB, and ICU as a float nurse, ended in a Post Surgical/Anesthetic Recovery Room and Day Surgery Unit. To help/teach the patients to be able to recover and return to their living environments, was the highest reward in my RN career.

My first active volunteering  in politics started in 2008 in the Presidential Election. Needless to say, I was feeling relatively  safe until 2016 when I realized the Congressional election mattered enormously.  For the first time, I volunteered in a way I never thought I would. Through that experience I met many true and long-time activists from whom I learned so much about the hierarchy and inside processes of Local and National politics. My life has been much fuller because of these involvements and the chances to learn even more.

I have been member of CatalystDems, Placer Action Network and Roseville Junction Dem.  I have volunteered in CalAway canvassing, a local soup kitchen, an annual assembling of the food for needy families, Placer Food Bank, and  Camp Fire/Paradise Fire relief for the affected citizens and the animals. 

To run for the Central Committee is an advancement of my involvement and learning. And, I hope to make, however small, changes to better our community and advance Democratic Party's ideals.

Working and currently unemployed but not letting it depress me and finding myself to better educated and help out causes.

Studied at Sierra Community College, American River Community College, and finally Sacramento State Univeristy.

Being progressive means looking to improve our communities each day, week, month, and year at a time. I listen to people of different political, or lack thereof, spectrums and there will be disagreements on how to best improve our communities, but we leave each other with a sense of debate better understood and carried forward.

As someone who lives in this community, I understand there will be conflicts and joy to experience. It is about the people that live here. The companies or businesses that state that they care about our community will know that their efforts are appreciate to do so and hold them accountable whenever they do not hold true to that word. I believe that when people have the money and resources to survive, we thrive. There is better trust driving and walking up and down these hills and knowing how people are living their efforts to make a difference. 

We are the richest country in the world and we should not be having kids starving and our veterans cannot be sleeping on the streets. If I am yelled at about "How are you going to pay for it?" then I will be with confidence to state that with our tax dollars and I can be very proud to help out someone I don't know because this community has helped me and my family so I'm going to do my best to help them out.
