My Top 3 Priorities

  • Ensure public education for all, preschool through college
  • Defend and improve the rights of senior citizens - safety, medical, financial
  • Ensure quality community service

I am a retired elementary school eacher whose greatest joy was to teach children and to set a good example for them to follow.  I served as the Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association President for several years.  I am a life time member of CTA/NEA.  I am a member of the Kern County Central Committee and as an incumbent, I retain a wealth of knowledge about our community and our citizens.   I have served my party with loyalty and distinction, always the first to volunteer at the Fair Booth at a meeting or an event.  I am currently the second Vice President of Kern County California Retired Teachers Association and the membership chair.  I believe in the future of our counry and consistently work to make sure that we can all achieve our dreams and goals.  I am fond of quoting JFK.  "The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining."  Let's get to work.
