Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I love this blessed place we call home, and I know you do too.  My goal is to make sure that El Dorado County remains ruralrelevant and economically vital for generations to come.

I appreciate that local government is not a partisan office, and I will work collaboratively with my other 4 supervisors to govern El Dorado County from a holistic standpoint.  I regularly attend board of supervisor meetings, I am experienced and I am ready to be effective as your next District 3 Supervisor.  As Supervisor…

I will be conservative with finances and bold with solutions.

I will fiercely support our law enforcement personnel.

I will be an advocate of our family farms, our agricultural region, our historic, charming hometowns and the recreational and cultural amenities that are the heart and soul of our County.

I will balance growth while safeguarding what makes us special.  They do NOT have to be mutually exclusive.

In fact, I will not be afraid of appropriate growth.  I will embrace the pioneer spirit that recognized that when channels of gold dry up, we must pursue new areas of opportunity.

I will support a business-friendly climate that enables business to prosper.

I will govern with respect and with optimism.

I’m a person that doesn’t retreat behind a dais, and I am strategic and open to new possibilities. I respectfully ask for your vote on March 3.  I will give you my very best.
