I have lived in El Dorado County since 1980. As a single parent I raised my daughter in Tahoe where she excelled in school and other activities. I have worked for both government and private business. During the seven years I worked for the City of South Lake Tahoe I worked in three different departments due to layoffs (Engineering, Police and Purchasing/Personnel). Most of my working years, however, have been in the resort timeshare industry where my last twenty years were as Resort Manager. While I volunteer my time and talents to various charitable organizations, I have also served on the City of South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission, the El Dorado County Commission on Aging, the El Dorado County Central Committee, and the South Lake Tahoe Republican Womens organization.

Political Philosophy
I believe in freedom of choice, and therefore, the consequences of such choices. I believe in hard work and in going the extra mile. I believe that our country is a special place but we may lose our freedoms if we are not vigilant. I want to see more electeds who are committed to our constitution, who will stand up against legislation that takes our county further away from liberty. I believe that the main purpose of government is safety and infrastructure, and that they should have little to do with business or how a person lives their lives.
