My Top 3 Priorities

  • Emergency preparedness/public safety. I have been working with other municipalities to compile ideas and share best practices to help Windsor become more fully prepared for any natural disaster it might face in the future.
  • Managing growth to keep Windsor the wonderful, family-oriented town it is today. I will only approve projects that will add value to current Windsor residents, with an emphasis on only local high-quality development and reducing traffic congestion.
  • Windsor has per capita the lowest crime rate, best roads, some of the lowest rates of homelessness, and the strongest local economy with the healthiest budget/reserves in the county, so there are many programs in Windsor I will continue to support.

Biography

I love this town. I grew up in Windsor, and I want to make sure it stays the safe, vibrant, family-friendly community it is today for my own future children. As your current Vice Mayor, a former Planning Commissioner, a committed member of the Active 20-30 Club, and a Town Green small businesses owner, I have seen Windsor from all angles and hope to continue to fight for its best interest in the coming years.

Our campaign has been working hard to get the word out. I'm proud to have received endorsements from individuals I respect such as State Senator Mike McGuire, Supervisor James Gore, Mayor Bruce Okrepkie, Councilmembers Mark Millan and Deborah Fudge, along with a broad coalition of community groups from the pro-business Sonoma County Alliance to the environmental champions, the Sonoma County Conservation Action.

I’ve always had an open-door policy to meet with any and all constituents that ask. I’m proud of the fact that I’ve hosted countless residents for a glass of wine, beer or coffee to share ideas and respond to questions, and I will continue to do so in the future. It’s through these meetings, as well as meetings with town staff and other local leaders that I arrive at well-rounded and well-informed decisions that I believe are best for the residents of Windsor.

With that in mind, feel free to call me anytime during this campaign or after the election at (707) 484-3985.
