Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

As an educator I hold a track record of civic engagement in the different communities where I have worked and resided. I value the spirit of cooperation and service.

It is my objective to serve Cloverdale by being approachable and accessible to all residents, including those communities that have been underserved. Following the principle that all residents should be encouraged to participate in civic affairs, I will foster input concerning growth and development.

My main interests rest in Cloverdale’s continued presence and collaboration with  the school board, fire district, regional boards and government, and service organizations. I will advance initiatives to better serve local residents.

As a leader, I have demonstrated great resourcefulness in coalition building leading to strong partnerships with businesses, regional organizations as well as government. I want to be a voice of reason and careful thought as the city continues to develop sustainably.
