Biography

Education really can be the great equalizer – creating opportunities for young people, new jobs and a thriving economy. It’s our investment in a stronger future.

I’m a product of Solano County’s public schools -- Including UC Davis' undergraduate program and graduate programs. I’ve raised my kids in these schools and taught right here in the sixth district at Vaca Peña Middle School as a Student Teacher; I've also subsequently taught at Fairfield and Armijo High Schools as a summer session teacher, Golden West Middle School, and Vanden High School. I understand what it takes to build a strong educational system that produces students to be prepared for a 21st century economy.

Educating our young people is a partnership. As your representative, I’ll make sure teachers have the tools they need to teach, that students have the tools they need to learn, and that parents are engaged in the process by making communication a priority. I’ll also work with community organizations to create programs that connect students with mentors and career training.

I’ll push for more transparency and accountability, ensuring our tax dollars are going directly into classrooms. I’ll also focus on school safety, so students have a safe route to and from schools and while on campus.

Working together, we can give our young people a solid foundation. I hope you’ll join me. Follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram @BULLDOGJUDI or visit me at VoteJudi.com if you have questions.
