Bring high technology companies to Vallejo ca with 100 jobs are more for residents and  citizen of Vallejo.

Questions:

·        If elected, what will be your top priority? 

1. Job creation get more high technology jobs into the city 

2. Adorable housing 

3. Homeless & drug abuse treatment 

4. Domestic violence prevention 

5. Hire more police and firemen

·        Why did you decide to run for a seat on the council?  I am running because you can't solve the city problems with same way of thinking and doing the same thing over and over again. We need a new way of thinking and getting the job done. It not being done now. Keep electing the same person over and over again you will get the same response and results. Try a new person on the city council me for example.

·        What’s your stance on Vallejo’s cannabis industry? I not for it however, it here and it sad the city council allows it and takes funds from it. I think the taxes are not high enough and tax money should go to the school & police. They will be impacted the most.  One pound of weed is an IPad for the school. I feel 30% should go to the police department for K-9 and other services.

·        Do you support the development of the Orcem/VMT project in South Vallejo?

This is a problem that should have been solved years ago. It's one of the reasons I am running for a seat. I have been told to not take a stance however it's an item I know I can and will resolved. It's what I do...!

·        Homelessness is a major issue in town, what are your ideas to address the issue? Homeless is a choice by the individual that is homeless. The city council can't fix an individual problem however, the city council can put measures in please to help. Get Napa mental hospital to set up a clinic in Vallejo offer substance abuse treatment and professional mental illness treatment. Get funds from the state and federal agencies.

·        Most of Vallejo’s water pipes are severely aged – how would you fix this problem? Again this is what I do. Get a performance bond muni bond measure (PPP) public private partnerships come up with a (BOT) build out transfer with several capital partners.

·        Do you support binding arbitration?

Advocates of binding arbitration argue the process resolves collective bargaining impasses in a fair and timely manner, and adds finality to the contract negotiation process while balancing contractual conditions with the public interest and financial capability of municipalities and school districts. Opponents maintain the current statutory criteria used by arbitrators are vague, and the process limits the review capacity of the local legislative authority in that it effectively turns over local budgets to arbitrators who are not town resident and my not have the information and interests of the residents in mind. I can support  a hybrid version.

·        Do you support the dredging of the Mare Island Strait? If so, why? 

Yes it will be a good project for future use and offer a way to get new revenue from use of the ports. Disposing of the muck and mud to not create an environmental impact its a good thing to get cargo ship and cruise ships into Vallejo why should San Francisco have all the money and fun. 

Get the tourists off the ships and on the wine train. Get them on the ferry to Sausalito and San Francisco. New way of thinking and getting money for Vallejo.

·        Art is an important part of downtown Vallejo (chalk festival, Art Walk, SOMA), what would you do to keep artists in the downtown? Start a Vallejo art festival just like the Sausalito Art festival tie them together cross promotion for the both use the ferry to get tourist and art lovers to come to the area and support local art and artists tie it to the museums in Vallejo.

Yes use city owner property to generate cash and not depending on taxes from drug sales for revenue. Build power packs and sale the power back to Pg&E. Again this is what I do and it being done with abandoned buildings in the midwest. It save cost of boarding the up or tearing them down empty locations or have arsonist burning them. Doors and windows must be secured and often covered with plywood, lawns cut, and trash removed. Maintenance costs vary according to the property’s location and condition. For example, Chicago officials estimated costs of $875,000 to board up or secure 627 properties in 2010, whereas Detroit officials estimated costs of $1.4 million to do the same for 6,000 properties over a period of nearly a year and a half. Lawn mowing costs can add up quickly, as in the case of the $25 spent on each of Detroit’s 45,000 city-owned lots and properties. This is the best place to build a power pack.
