My Top 3 Priorities
Student Well-Being and Success - This is the school district's ultimate responsibility and guiding principle for all actions. Readying our students for college and career takes collaboration, listening and creative problem solving.
Transparency - I would like to see Lucia Mar record podcasts of board meetings that would be available online and organized by agenda item, so the public can listen to discussions important to them on their own timeframe.
Responsible Stewardship of District Funds - I am committed to careful and sensible fiscal management with thorough research and outreach to stakeholders to ensure that every dollar is leveraged to best serve our students.

My Top 3 Priorities
Quality Education - The overriding goal of the Lucia Mar Unified School District should be the education of our children, academically, socially, and physically.
Safety - In addition to the current protocols and training for critical incident response events, I I would advocate investigating proactive techniques to help stop violent events before they occur.
Demographics - As the California population ages, we should expect additional strains on educational budgets. The new LMUSD Board will need to make nimble, creative solutions to ensure continued educational excellence.
