Experience

Biography

I have always been eager to learn new skills and expand my horizons. This has led to many jobs—postal clerk and carrier, barrista, maintenance specialist, carpenter, security agent, Emergency Medical Technician, prepress and printing press operator, commercial artist, truck driver, and above all sign painter—as well as a Ph.D. in Philosophy and several years college teaching experience. I'm now retired from a nine-year stint driving a school bus in the district for which I hope to be a trustee.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I'm an unqualified and unashamed liberal and progressive. That does not mean I bear antimosity toward conservatives, just that I don't agree with them in many ways. In many other ways, however, I  see all points of view as relevant and worthy of respect.
