My Top 3 Priorities
- Create a community school with wrap-around services to give kids the support they need to close a longstanding achievement gap and prepare them for high school and beyond. The board has adopted a model for this and the time has come to implement it.
- Restore transparency and integrity to the board to regain the community’s trust. As a lifelong Marin City resident with deep community connections and loved ones at both our schools, constituents trust me to be fair, knowledgeable and compassionate.
- The CA Attorney General is investigating our district due to concerns about past board decisions. From 2009-16 many decisions favored our charter school over our traditional public school. We need a board with diverse thought & better decision making
