My Top 3 Priorities

  • High-Wage Job Creation / Affordable Quality Education - The biggest challenge in the Valley is economic vitality and the lack of high-wage jobs. I have worked to save and create jobs in my city. We need to invest in education and in bringing new jobs
  • Access to Healthcare - Valley families continue to experience a shortage of healthcare providers and lack of access to healthcare, as well as conditions like asthma and Valley fever. Addressing this lack of care is one of my top priorities.
  • Water Supply & Water Quality - Agriculture is the lifeblood of the valley but we still don't have the appropriate investment from the state to ensure a steady supply and to increase storage. We must also ensure that families can consume water safely.

I grew up in the Valley. As the daughter of immigrant parents and the first in my family to graduate from college, I know firsthand what it means to overcome poverty, get a good education, find a good job, and climb to the middle class. I’m running for State Senate because too many people in the Valley are getting left behind. I aim to advocate for all our families for access to quality schools, healthcare, high-wage jobs, and the opportunity for a better life. As a labor organizer, healthcare advocate, city councilmember, and valley native I have the knowledge and experience necessary to succeed in delivering these results for Valley families.

Senate District 14 deserves a representative that has the necessary allies at the state and local level, as well as the necessary relationships with local communities, to deliver the state resources needed for local businesses to succeed and for Valley families to be prosperous and healthy. I believe I can be that representative.
