My Top 3 Priorities

  • Mental Health and Homelessness: I will create prerelease planning with persons that are homeless or have mental health disorders, ensuring mental health evaluations are done before releasing them back to the street setting them up for failure.
  • Recidivism and Re-Entry: I will create programs partnering with our local trade groups to create a job and lifestyle change for inmates with an organized transfer to Probation to ensure success outside of the system.
  • Efficiency in Services: I will provide county wide transport services from the arrest to the jail to keep our deputies and officers in service. I will utilize Correctional staff to reduce overtime costs associated to inmate hospital details.

I started my law enforcement career in 1998 with Benicia Police Department. I was hired by Fairfield Police Department in 1999 and have worked there since. I have held numerous positions and assignments to include Patrol, Investigations, School Resource Officer, Training Officer, and Crisis Negotiator.

I was promoted to Sergeant in 2008 where I supervised and managed Patrol, Crime Prevention/Youth Services, and Homeless Intervention Team.

I later promoted to Lieutenant and currently manage Patrol, Honor Guard, Peer Support, and the Crisis Intervention Team. I am the Mental Health Liaison for the Fairfield Police Department and am the Law Enforcement Representive for Solano County Continuum of Care. I am the Vice President of the Fairfield Police Activities League and a founding member.

I hold a Bacelors Degree in Criminal Justice Management.

I have several budgets that I stay fiscally responsible to daily.
