My Top 3 Priorities

  • Mental Health and Homelessness: I will create prerelease planning with persons that are homeless or have mental health disorders, ensuring mental health evaluations are done before releasing them back to the street setting them up for failure.
  • Recidivism and Re-Entry: I will create programs partnering with our local trade groups to create a job and lifestyle change for inmates with an organized transfer to Probation to ensure success outside of the system.
  • Efficiency in Services: I will provide county wide transport services from the arrest to the jail to keep our deputies and officers in service. I will utilize Correctional staff to reduce overtime costs associated to inmate hospital details.
