- Driving the Economy: Grow our local economy by creating a business friendly environment that supports business diversity and stimulates the entrepreneurial spirit
- Developing our Workforce: Train our workforce and create rewarding career opportunities for high school students, for the current under-employed, and for "at risk" individuals. Good job skills forge a sense of purpose and instill hope.
- Supporting Public Safety: Manage resources to add jail space, increase police presence, encourage rehabilitation, and improve social and mental health services.
