My Top 3 Priorities

  • EDUCATION: As a leader within the UC and Cal State systems, I’ll work with the Legislature, as well as faculty and students to create greater access and affordability for California students, and the necessary training that the new economy requires.
  • HOUSING: I’ll work with stakeholders throughout the state to create regional strategies to produce more cost-effective and sustainable ways of ensuring adequate housing, and help bring regional communities come together to address a common challenge.
  • ENVIRONMENT: I’ll use the Lt. Governor’s positions on environmental councils & commissions to fight Donald Trump’s assault on California’s environment. I’m endorsed by the Sierra Club who said I’m “hands down, the best candidate for Lt. Governor.”
