The Liquid Candidate Pledge
With modern technology and a new concept called liquid democracy, we can give all California District 19 constituents an active, ongoing voice on all statewide legislation.
We’ve needed elected representatives because few of us can be informed about every issue. But liquid allows us and our neighbors to empower our own personal experts on issues, rather than depending on a single elected politician.
I, David Ernst, pledge to vote on every bill in the legislature based on the wishes of my constituents, using liquid democracy through www.united.vote.
As a check against extreme cases, I reserve the right to a single veto. I will issue a detailed explanation and then constituents can vote for my immediate resignation.
