Chief Dave Brown is a 30-year veteran of Califorinia Law Enforcement. He has extensive background in gang and narcotics enforcement and has served as a regional SWAT commander. He has held command positions in every division of law enforcement including many years as Chief of Police.
Chief Brown has held the following key leadership positions:
- President, Riv Co Chiefs and Sheriff Assoc.
- President, Inland SWAT Commanders Assoc.
- Chairman, Riv Co Gang Task Force, Region 3
- Chairman, Central County United Way
- Member, Statewide Municipal Policing Workgroup
- Trustee, School Board-Linfield Christian School
Chief Brown has been honored as "Man of the Year" twice by the Chamber of Commerce and recently received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Riverside Law Enforcement Appreciation Committee.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cal Poly Pomona and Master of Arts from Azusa Pacific University. He and his wife, Carol, have raised 3 children in Riverside County and currently reside in the City of Menifee.
