My Top 3 Priorities

  • My personal goal is to refocus sentencing in criminal matters to once again make public safety a top priority. Sentences will be fair, but public safety will be my overriding concern.
  • I will bring an advanced knowledge of trial practice, including proper utilization of juror's time, efficient use of county and state resources and an impartial evaluation of the evidence presented.
  • I will promote an atmosphere of fairness, respect to all parties and the opportunity for every participant in the trial process to have a full and complete opportunity to present their case.

Candidate Statement

Official Candidate Statement

Throughout my career I have successfully prosecuted murderers, violent gang members, child molesters, robbers, and identity thieves who prey upon Riverside County citizens. As your next Superior Court Judge, every defendant in my courtroom will receive fair and consistent application of the law. I will impose firm and appropriate sentences on convicted criminals. Every victim's voice will be heard.

The law enforcement community, including Riverside County Sheriffs' Association, Banning, Beaumont, Corona, Indio and Riverside Police Associations, Peace Officers' Research Association of California (PORAC) and Riverside County Deputy District Attorneys' Association, endorse my candidacy. I am law enforcement's choice.

Banning Police Chief Alejandro Diaz, District Attorney Mike Hestrin, Presiding Judge Becky Dugan, County Supervisor Kevin Jeffries, and Mayors Michael Perciful (Hemet), Michael Wilson (Indio), Natasha Johnson (Lake Elsinore), Neil Winter (Menifee), Jonathan Ingram (Murrieta), Michael Vargas (Perris), Karen Speigel (Corona) and Rusty Bailey (Riverside) are elected officials who endorse me.

My wife, a local elementary school teacher, and I are lifelong Riverside County residents who are committed to community service, including mentoring, charity fundraising, and youth sports.

Respectfully, I ask that you vote for Tim Hollenhorst for Riverside County Superior Court Judge.
