Since moving to Hemet, DeniAntionette Mazingo, has made countless contributions to the community, focusing on improving the lives of those less fortunate. As Third District Commissioner for Women, Deni established a program to educate young people about the dangers of human trafficking.
She is an active member of Soroptimist International, living out the organization’s mission aiding women and girls, and developing programs leading to social and economic empowerment, by, chairing several fundraisers, providing educational grants and scholarships & working to host an annual Soroptimist Girl Power Conference for sixth and seventh grade girls providing them opportunities to succeed.
Deni tirelessly petitioned the Hemet Valley Medical Center Board to resume operating the Rape Crisis Center, which “reopened in May of 2015”.
She is National President of Las Amigas Incorporated, whose mission is to enhance the quality of life and promote the general improvement of the communities. They accomplish this through educational programs, by providing non-perishable food items for those children who do not have access to nourishing food during the weekends, and by raising funds for scholarships and the Children’s Defense Fund.
DeniAntionette is also a member of Rotary International, assisting folks throughout the world.
As President of Ladies of Charity locally, she initiated the street ministry to serve the homeless by providing meals, clothing and referrals to assist them getting off of the streets and living in their cars.
As a lifetime member of The National Council of Negro Women, & is involved in pushing forth the rights of the people of color on all levels.
Deni was named ‘The Woman of The Year’ by CA Senator Mike Morrell in 2016 after seeing all the Advocacy Work she does on a daily basis!
Deni is a practicing attorney (16+ years) and provides pro bono services to individuals unable to afford needed help.
Deni will tell you that she strives to put her faith in the Lord first through earnest prayer.
