I am a 24 year old Realtor who was recently married. I have lived my entire life in Modesto and love my city. I have always had a passion for helping people with many years of volunteering to organizations as well as churches I have attended. When I was a kid I could play outside with the neighborhood kids and my parents would leave the front door open and nobody would watch us, nobody was worried back then. The city has become increasingly less safe and I could not imagine doing what my parents did with the children I hope to eventually have. I want to make Modesto a safer place as well as give Modesto a reputation for being a trailblazer in the future that is not afraid to try new ideas or solutions. The solutions of the past are not curerntly working in our city and I hope to use my education, life experiences, and passion to make our city a better place.

Political Philosophy
I am a moderate Republican. I consider myself conservative, but above all else logical. The sides of issues I support will be the ones that do the most good for the most people whether that is in the short-run or the long-run. Just because an idea is liberal or new does not mean I will not be willing to listen to it and possibly support it. I want to be as flexible a politician as possible so that I can achieve the best results for the people. I hope to bring a high level of youth and passion to the council and help reinvigorate our city with a new generations perspective.

Positions I take on problems facing Modesto
Reducing crime by working with the police department and not trying to control them, simply letting them do their job.
Reducing the homeless problem by better connecting homeless people to the organizations we have at hand, as well as increasing our police force to help deal with the problem.
Decreasing our ridiculous water rates that should not be nearly as high because Modesto is no longer in a drought.
Making Modesto a greener and cleaner city by creating a pet park where Naraghi lakes currently is located as well as adding more bike lanes to the city and finding a solution to the solar planning problem facing many people who bought solar panels under the cities contract.
Supporting the AJAX new soccer complex that will bring much needed revenue and new jobs to Modesto.
Supporting farmers and fighting to reduce current regulation that makes it harder for them to do their jobs as well as fighting to support and defend Wood Colony.
Holding our city more accountable as far as the Forestry and Sewage department is concerned. Creating actual lists that let people know when the city will be able to come out and help them instead of saying they will eventually get to it or never come out at all.
Being a part of a new generation of politicians that looks to be as transparent as possible and holding up my integrity at all costs.
To create more unique restaurants and clothing shopping on the East side of town.
To work with the road works department of our city so that the projects they choose make the most sense and do the most good for the people of Modesto.
Overall I just hope to be a candidate that the people of Modesto can look back on and be glad and proud that they elected me.
