My Top 3 Priorities

  • Teacher support is needed at all levels: dual immersion, special ed as well as classroom teachers. New teachers need to have mentors to help them through the first few years so that they don't feel overwhelmed and leave the profession.
  • Quality education comes from excellent teaching. We need to provide support for our teachers at all levels. We should be recruiting the best and the brightest from colleges, retaining teachers with the help of mentoring and support.
  • Fiscal responsibility means using all possible funds and resources to assist teachers in delivering quality education to their students.
