My Top 3 Priorities

  • To increase awareness of progressive Democratic candidates.
  • To work to get more young people and first time voters registered in the Democratice party and participating in the political process.
  • To support and encorage legislative action on progressive policies including campaign finance reform, single-payer health care and environmental issues such as protecting food and water resources.

Biography

Interested in Democratic politics since college, my biography includes:

• Long-time progressive Democratic activist and organizer; Co-Chair, San Mateo County Democracy for America Democratic  Club.

• Former Vice-Chair, 11 year member, San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee; as Central Committee Registration Chair, praised by Hon. Anna Eshoo for making San Mateo County one of the top three CA counties registering new Democrats; delegate to the CA Democratic State Convention 10 years

• Educator and former educational non-profit director; wife, mother, community volunteer

• Most important issues: electoral reform and overturning Citizens United; single-payer healthcare; free college education; achieving peace; attacking climate change and preserving safe food and water for California
