Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I consider myself a pragmatic progressive. I believe fiscal responsibility is a pre-cursor to smart target investments in our people (such as childcare, education, and workforce development) and infrastructure (affordable housing and transportation). I am a strong believer in expanding civic engagement and lowering the barriers to voting and democratic participation.
