I have been a Harbor Commissioner for the past eight years and have led the District to highest revenues in history. My strong business background and leadership abilities have assisted the Commission in making decisions to move the Port forward and we are succeeding. I participate at local, state, and international levels to raise awareness of our Port, and to acquire knowledge to advocate for this critical County resource. I am a Certified Global Business Professional, Certified Mediator, and business consultant. I understand international trade and how the Port and its customers can work together to generate more economic impact on our region. I have taken leadership roles in domestic and international port associations which assist our Port with new ideas and building positive relationships, and I am active in our local community to promote the Port. I am a current member of LAFCo, elected by my peers for this six-year term.

Biography
Dear Friends and Voters,
I am asking for YOUR VOTE of confidence to serve as YOUR Harbor Commissioner.
The importance of our maritime and agricultural industries influenced me as I grew up in Hawaii and also, working for more than eleven years (2006 to 2018), for one of the large shipping lines at the Port of Hueneme. My maritime experience, working for the shipping lines greatly expanded my knowledge about Port operations.
I served as Commissioner from 2013 to 2016, and look forward to returning to serve our Port and community with financial accountability and commitment toward a safe, secure and sustainable Port. I have excellent relations with businesses, organizations, elected leaders, local military leaders and our local communities.
Endorsement received from Will Berg, Mayor pro tem, City of Port Hueneme.
I served on the following organizations: Ventura County Grand Jury, Oxnard Elementary School District Educational Foundation, California Strawberry Festival, Channel Islands Maritime Museum, Oxnard K-9 Foundation, and Port Hueneme Chamber of Commerce and currently serve on the Board of Directors of: Navy League Channel Islands Council, Friends of the Port Hueneme Library and the International Mariners Center at the Port of Hueneme.
My priorities as Commissioner will focus on jobs, port customers, financial resources and working together with our community leaders. I will serve you with integrity and accountability.
With YOUR VOTE of confidence, I accept the responsibility to SERVE YOU.
Education: San Jose State University, Bachelor of Arts Degree
Married: Tom Fraser, US Navy Retired, Seabee
