Biography

I am a mother, an educator, and a business owner.  I have 3 children (7, 9, 12) who are thriving at Milpitas Unified School District.  I am an involved parent and have held various positions on the school PTA, School Site Council, and Community Board of Advisory Council at MUSD for over 7 years.  I have been awarded Volunteer of the Year multiple times.

Outside of school, I am involved citizen of Milpitas.  I am currently serving as a Board Director and an Ambassador for the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce.  I am also an active member and President-Elect of the Milpitas Rotary Club.  A few of the recent awards I have received are: 2018 Local Hero Award from Assemblymember Kansen Chu, 2018 Volunteer for the Year from Burnett Elementary School, voted as 2017 and 2018 Best of Milpitas "Business Person" from Milpitas Post, and 2017 Business Person of the Year from Milpitas Chamber of Commerce.

It’s time for me to step up and serve in a different capacity and give back to our community.  Milpitas is already a great school district, however there’s always room for improvement!  I would like find ways to improve our education system and make a positive impact for my 3 children, niece, nephew, and the 10,000+ other students in our Milpitas community.  My business experience will be an asset to Milpitas Unified School District.  With my leadership and passion to serve in our public schools, Milpitas would benefit tremendously.  This is the type of leadership that our Community needs.  Please vote for me #2 on the ballot.
