Biography
I was born and raised in south Fresno and began my college education at Fresno City College before earning a B.S. in Urban Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I currently work as a City Planner at a local engineering and planning firm.
The Community College system is the main engine ensuring that our local job force has the skills they need, whether new students, or returning professionals who are enhancing their skills. That’s why it’s critical that we provide increased access to the right programs and classes students need to achieve their dreams.
I will work to expand career technical education programs and expand guaranteed access to the CSU and UC system for qualifying students from our community college system.I will work with faculty and staff to ensure they have the resources they need. I will expand partnerships with our business community to ensure we are meeting their needs, while providing students with hands-on experience.
Together we can increase educational opportunities for all and create a vibrant local economy.I would be grateful for the opportunity to earn your vote. You are always welcome to contact me on my personal cell (559) 931-1946 or at www.annalisaperea.com.
