Occupation:  Incumbent; CSU Fresno Lecturer, Former City Council Member

A Reedley College Graduate, current Lecturer at Fresno State, 37 1/2 year Reedley College agriculture instructor, former garden center owner, city council member, and these last 8 years, your Area 4 Trustee.

Reedley College Milestones during last 8 years:  Reedley College ranked #2 "Best Community Colleges in California" by;  Awarded record numer of degrees and certificates, May 2018 commencement;  Full ACCJC accreditation reaffirmed;  and Passage of the $485 million Measure "C" District Facilities Bond (Reedley's portion: new Performing Arts Center, Math Science and Agriculture Instructional Complex Expansions).

Other Milestones included:  Secured Rural Transit Access to the College for all Area 4 cities;  Implemented award winning energy cost cutting Solar Project;  Secured increaed state and local funding for our innovative Promise Programs (Free Tuition);  Implemented a Strategic Plan for increased student opportunities (i.e. Guided Pathways, Middle College High School, Paramount Farm Global, Dual Enrollment, and Valley ROP offerings);  and accomplishing all of the above within a Balanced Budget!

Reedley College Vision 2025's motto - "We Motivate and Inspire Students to Succeed", grounds my priorities for the college and the district:  Increased completion rates, Seamless transfer programs, Work force readiness and partnerships with education, business-industry and public agencies.  Please allow me to continue our quest for excellence to make Reedley College the best college in California.
