SAN PASQUAL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
Governing Board Member
CHERIE GRAVES
Small Business Owner/Parent
During the formative years of our children, it is important to foster students that are intellectually, emotionally, and physically well-balanced. It is also critical to prepare our students to not just pass a standardized test, but to have the critical thinking skills and confidence to pass all of life’s tests. Our children are multidimensional. I want them to thrive and reach their greatest personal potential.
As a mother of two girls who attend San Pasqual Union School – in preschool and 2nd grade – I am deeply invested in the success, safety and sense of community of our charming Little School in the Valley. I volunteer regularly on campus and communicate frequently with other parents, teachers, and staff. I couldn’t be happier to be part of this incredible district as a parent, but I also want to give back to the school that has already given my girls so much.
As a successful small business owner, I can bring fresh ideas and a common sense approach to the San Pasqual Union School District. As a board member I will listen to parents, staff and our children to ensure they all have a voice in the system.
I would be honored to have your vote for the San Pasqual Union School District Board.

SAN PASQUAL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
Governing Board Member
ANGIE BAKER
Incumbent
Angie Baker currently has the privilege of serving the San Pasqual community as the Vice President of the SPU School Board. She has been intimately involved in The Little School in the Valley serving in a wide range of activities for the District, including numerous hours as a classroom volunteer and tutor, working member of the PTA, Board Member of the SPU Foundation and presently the School Board.
My vast experience has allowed me to work with a team of Board Members to assist the school administration in setting policies that have positively affected our students and school. Together, we have guided the vision and goals for the district and adopted policies that give the district direction to achieve its goals. I have collaborated with the board to support the administration in creating a sound budget that ensures long term fiscal stability.
During my tenure, SPU has created a STEAM Lab and Red Barn Arts Program which serves K-8 students, SAGE Garden, K-8 credentialed PE teachers and recently, we have adopted new electives for the middle school and SPU has magnified Professional Development for our wonderful teaching staff.
I love this school and community. Vote Angie Baker!
