CORONADO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Governing Board Member – Short Term

MOLLY L. ZOHN
AGE: 37
Attorney

As a board member I will focus on promoting students in their learning, careers, and other aspirations by helping our district equip our schools with the tools they need to carry out their objectives. In particular, we continue to struggle with funds due to the Local Control Funding Formula, while our needs for technological updates, adaptation to Common Core standards, and more individually tailored curricula necessitate innovation. I am an attorney at Klinedinst and attained both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University. My professional experience has provided me with the tools to know when to research, ask questions, stand firm, and find compromise. I care deeply for this community and regularly volunteer for child-related causes. I believe this position and my experience will produce synergies that will allow me to further benefit Coronado children.
