My Top 3 Priorities

  • Prioritize the classroom, and educating the WHOLE child. Less emphasis on testing and teacher scapegoating. Children, parents, and teachers are the heart of education, not tests.
  • Responsibly manage county educational spending. More money for the programs, teachers, counselors, and staff that provide effective education; less money for bloated administrator salaries.
  • Recognize that the support services schools provide are essential to a good education. Proper nutrition, effective transportation, clean and safe schools are all important parts of education.
