I have spent most of my adult life volunteering and helping young people. It is a passion of mine. As a board member of the Butte College Foundation chairperson for the Butte College Scholarship Program, I have had the privilege of meeting, helping and even crying with many students. These students are the heart of Butte College. I can bring to the Board a wealth of knowledge, absorbed from these experiences. I am very experienced in management, business, leadership and community relations. In addition, I would like to work directly with the Glenn County education leaders to help pave the way to more of our students realizing what Butte College can offer them. Serving as the Appointed Trustee for the past several months I am confident that our team can successfully continue to move Butte College upward.
