My Top 3 Priorities

  • Prioritize working with our black male youth. Support visible and swift actions in response to continuing violence affecting our community. Harness technology that allows our law enforcement provide more equitable and efficient, quality services.
  • Our district can't wait for City Hall to clean up our neighborhoods. As councilman, I would want to double down on supporting our community-led organizations, who have both the proximity, urgency and leadership needed to transform our neighborhoods.
  • Invest in building a more thriving job economy, prioritizing residents born and/or raised in Oakland to be able to stay and thrive. Focus on attracting more business/economic opportunities in the coming decades.
