Xavier University Masters Degree, Criminal Justice (2013)

Biography

Corbin earned a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Xavier University by the young age of 23. Being the Son of a Naval Officer, Corbin decided to follow in his Father’s footsteps and become a Naval Officer himself after graduating, and now currently works as a civilian contractor in support of the United States Navy.

Due to his father’s military career, Corbin traveled the world growing up, and as a result, developed a powerful love of his country and a unique appreciation for the freedoms and quality of life that Americans enjoy. Taking nothing for granted and seeing the people’s freedoms and quality of life disintegrate by our corrupt government’s overreach, Corbin made a decision. That decision was to stop doing nothing and start doing something in order to preserve what we all love and cherish while our country is being split in half.

As a result of that decision, Corbin co-founded We the People Coalition, a non-partisan endeavor designed to unite all American people, Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Independents and everyone else under the 99% we all have in common instead of the 1% we differ on, which the powers that be want us to focus on.

After fully understanding the damage done to our country by the wealthy elites and corrupt politicians and seeing the people’s liberty and power disappear, Corbin decided he could do even more by running for political office.

Corbin’s goal in running for State Assembly 79th district is to transfer power back to the people, undo corruption, be and advocate for the people, not the corrupt system or. a political party, and see the people’s God-given rights such as freedom of speech, assembly and right to privacy restored and protected by government.

Questions & Answers

Questions from League of Women Voters of California (4)

What programs, proposals, projects, or legislation would you support to meet the water needs of all Californians?
Answer from Corbin Sabol:

We must invest in water resevoirs and capture as much rain water as possible during rainy seasons. We must also invest in desalination and water purification plants.

LA Times reported on Feburary 19th, 2019 that the State of California dumped (wasted) 18 TRILLION gallons of rain water. That is a near unfathomable number, but to put that number into context, would be enough water to fill 27 MILLION Olympic-sized pools. Do you think we could have used that fresh water instead of wasting it? Do you think the State of California is REALLY in a drought? Or are we just mismanaged by corrupt politicians?

The State of California, as of June 2nd 2022, sits close a 100 BILLION dollar surplus. The corrupt politicians are over-taxing the people, and will probably not use these excess funds for what the people really need, such as investing in capturing rain water.

Unseating these corrupt politicians and ensuring they are removed from positions of power is the first step in meeting the water needs of all Californians.

Describe what proposal(s) you would support to alleviate the shortage of affordable housing for middle and low income people in California?
Answer from Corbin Sabol:

The quickest way to explain why home prices are so high is simple supply and demand economics. The demand for homes is high, and the supply is low. With that being said, the people must build new homes.

However, due to excessive regulations, taxes and fees imposed on the people by their very own government, it is oftentimes too costly for the people to build a new home, therefore not allieviating the supply and demand problem.

Government must understand that it is acting as a direct barrier to the people's ability to grow, thrive and live their best life. Unfortunately we have too many corrupt politicians who capitalize and thrive off the people's suffering and the problems imposed onto the people by their very own government.

Tax breaks and/or tax credits for first-time home buyers or home builders, combined with reducing or elimiating taxes, fees and regulations where possible to allow more opportunities for the people to build and solve this problem is the path forward.

What programs or strategies would you suggest to meet the educational needs of young, low-income Californians?
Answer from Corbin Sabol:

Competition breeds excellence. When any entity does not have to compete with another entity, progress stagnates and the people suffer. Why is it then, our children are locked into an assigned school and cannot go to another school? This is cruel.

School Choice would allow the tax dollars that we currently spend on public education to follow the child and allow the parent to send their child or children to the best educational institution of their choice, which could be a different public school, private school, charter or accredited homeschool program. Choice, and the ability for the people to make the decisions for themselves, give the people power.

It is cruel to force our children to be locked into one public school. We can do better, we must do better, by giving the families the power to make the best choices for their households.

To reach a goal of carbon neutrality by 2045, as set forth in a 2018 executive order what, if any, proposals, plans or legislation would you support?  Please be specific.
Answer from Corbin Sabol:

Any measure to reduce a goal of carbon neutraility must be based in common sense and good faith. As long as actions taken do not impose an unduly hardship on the people, threaten the people's independence and ability to grow, thrive and live their best lives and are based in common sense and good faither, I will more than likely support said measures.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Sacramento politicians and the State of California have too much power over the people, and that is a problem. The result of their excessive centralized authority has led to the problems we face today, which are numerous. It is time to change that and transfer power back to the people.

Sacramento, or the State of California, should support the people, cities and counties with the tools, resources and funding they need, not rule over the people and dictate how things should be.

Furthermore, empty promises given to the people by politicians on the campaign trail, only to be unfulfilled while in office is unacceptable. The dishonesty, lack of transparency and deep void of basic ethics in our government is not what the people need, nor deserve.

Our elected representatives are supposed to ensure our government is working in the best interest of the people, but what do we have instead? Wealthy elites and lobbyists have paid for our politicians, both Republicans and Democrats, who then turn a blind eye to the many injustices in our country, turn their backs on the people, and do not do their job. And now we have a government that rules over, threatens and coerces the people, both Republican voters and Democrat voters.

The people are divided, we are fighting each other because we are focused on the 1% that makes us different while not realizing we have the other 99% in common. We the people need to unite, stand our ground, focus our attention on the corrupt Republicans, the corrupt Democrats, the corporations and lobbyists who are controlling them, and take back what has been stolen from us.

Send me to Sacramento so I can be voice in our government to preserve your power and your rights and fight to deliver back what has been taken from the people.

I hope I can earn your vote.
